Life Goals 101
History books have been written in order to show the world a different version of events than what really happened. A historian can write three pages about one event, and sugarcoat it so that the reader only knows the "true" history. This article will explore how false history has been created, and how we can tell truth from lies when reading histories from other countries.
When reading about history, one must be aware of the bias that the historian might have before writing his or her story. Without becoming a specialist in each field concerning historical events, it is very difficult to understand why certain facts were omitted while others were included in many histories written by historians from different countries.
For example, during WWII a group of military officers had tried to overthrow Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party in order to save Germany from the war that they were losing on all fronts. This group was called "the Black Orchestra", also known as The OSS (German: Die Schwarze Kapelle). In English, it is written as The Black Orchestra.
The OSS was led by Hans von Dohnányi and Adam von Trott zu Solz, who were both aristocrats from Germany with a strong sense of duty to their country. The two men wanted Hitler gone so badly that they had planned the assassination well in advance before it finally took place on July 20, 1944.
The two men thought that the removal of Hitler would make Germany surrender and save them from this terrible war. However, it failed to do so because they didn't fully understand how much power Adolf Hitler had over his people at the time. Most Germans were still supporting him even though he was losing on all fronts due to the strong propaganda that was being spread by the Nazis.
Heinrich Himmler succeeded Hitler after his death, and he immediately called for a meeting with members of the OSS to discuss what had happened. They were expecting him to be unhappy about this news but instead, they found out that he actually knew about it beforehand and not only did he support it, he had also helped in its execution.
The OSS didn't understand why this was the case and they were even more confused when Himmler told them that their actions saved Germany from a much worse fate than just losing WWII. This is because if Hitler hadn't been killed, he would have used all of his remaining power to create a war with the United States and would have succeeded if his life wasn't taken at that moment.
The OSS was shocked and confused by this news because they thought their actions were going against Germany's best interests, but Himmler told them that "the history books will be written in such a way that our sacrifice will not be in vain."
He was right, history books describe this event as the "July Plot" and they only show it from the German perspective.
The OSS members are described as traitors to Germany who tried to overthrow their own government by killing Adolf Hitler while he had been trying his best to defend Germany against her enemies. The German side is always shown as the victim and never the aggressor, even when they committed unspeakable atrocities in other countries.
If we look at history from different perspectives we find out that our version of events might not be so accurate after all. We need to know what's missing before making an assumption about what happened.
For example, some textbooks omit the fact that during WWII over 100 000 Japanese Americans were sent to internment camps after the attack on Pearl Harbor even though they had nothing to do with it and their families lived in America for several generations. The reasons why this happened are actually unknown because there was no proof of espionage or sabotage from this group of people, and the only thing that was known about them is that they were from Japan.
This event shows how history can be rewritten to serve different interests by focusing on specific details while leaving out other information which might change our perception of what happened in order to make it more convenient for certain groups or countries. It's not always accurate and therefore we can't always trust what they say, which is why it's important for us to do our own research and find out as much information as possible before making assumptions about something that happened in the past.
King Alexander III of Macedon was one of the most successful military commanders in ancient history. He is considered to be a great warrior, and he conquered many areas throughout ancient Greece during his lifetime while making alliances with other important people along the way.
However, what we learn about him from our textbooks isn't always complete because there's some information that's not being taught which can change our perception about the events he lived through.
To begin with, Alexander had a difficult life full of obstacles and challenges because his biological father was murdered shortly after his birth. This meant that he had to live up to high expectations since everyone already saw him as both "the king" and "the rightful heir" even though he wasn't born to be king.
He had to endure years of military training in order to prepare himself for the moment when he would take on his father's role as ruler of Macedonia, which was a hard process because there were many people who wanted him dead so they could have more power over this area. However, he had a strong will which helped him to push through this tough period in his life.
Since the causes of this disease are still unknown doctors have been trying for years to find out what triggers seizures or fits among people who suffer from it, but there is no consensus about the reasons why some people get it.
Some people say that it's due to environmental factors, while others think there might be a genetic predisposition towards the condition which means that certain people are more likely than others to develop epilepsy
For example, some scientists now believe that Alexander actually suffered from this neurological disorder because his mother Olympias was assassinated by one of her trusted counselors
The reasons why historians give us different versions of events aren't always clear because they might be hiding something which could change our perception about what happened. The only way to find out the truth is by doing thorough research and looking at every possible angle until we have all the information it is available.
We can't just trust everything that's written in.
